Angels are the second purchasable reinforcement bought at your citadel. While stronger than soldiers, they still aren't very powerful. Their main advantage is their higher line of sight, coupled with their ability to flow in front of enemy lines, greatly revealing the fog of war. Their second advantage is that they have lots of hitpoints and they keep running in and out of melee range, making them last quite a long time while doing decent damage.
They are also great at preventing fleeing demigods from using their Heart of Life, since any kind of damage interrupts the heal effect.
